A Muslim body on Friday extended its support to the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2014. The All India Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam expressed its support to the BJP through a letter that was handed over to Pon Radhakrishnan by the outfit’s president Sathakathullah.
Speaking to reporters, Radhakrishnan said members of the outfit would seek the support of the Muslim community to elect BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi to power.
Meanwhile, the BJP in TN is busy sewing up an alliance for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls in the State and details of the prospective parties joining the front would be released on December 16, said Tamilaruvi Maniyan, president, Gandhiya Makkal Iyakkam, here on Friday.
