Over 20K to Sit for Class X Board Exam

Over 20,100 students from Puducherry and Karaikal regions will be appearing for the SSLC examinations beginning on Wednesday.

The examination will be held in 35 centers in Puducherry and 225 high school and higher secondary schools, according to director of education E Vallavan.

A total of 7,718 boys and 7,812 girls will be taking up the examination that concludes on April 9 in Puducherry. In addition to this, 1,572 students will be writing the exams as private candidates. From 54 schools in Karaikal district, 2,973  students will take the exam. While 855 observers will monitor the exam in Puducherry, 182 will be entrusted with the work in Karaikal.
