Nellai Bomb Case: 3 Held

TIRUNELVELI:  Of the eight persons booked in connection with the hurling of country bombs in a village near Koodankulam on Dec 31, three were arrested on Thursday.

Police said six country bombs were reportedly hurled on the outskirts of Koothankuzhi village, in a forest area behind Fatima Nagar on December 31 late night during a clash. Acting on a complaint from Koodankulam VAO Shanmugaraja police on Thursday booked 8t persons, Mariya Ignasi (30), Siluvai John Joseph Anjila (24), Rajesh (33), Rodhikas (26), Gnanaprakasham (29), Antonyraj, Raja (38) and John Paul in connection with the Wednesday incident and arrested three persons, Mariya Ignasi, Anjila and Rajesh, on Thursday.
