CHENNAI: MDMK leader Vaiko today said he would decide on the next course of action if the Tamil Nadu government does not take any steps to inquire into the incident of gunning down of 20 workers from the state by Andhra Pradesh police in the Seshachalam forest in April.

Vaiko claimed an all party delegation had sought an appointment to meet Chief Minister Jayalalithaa on the issue but till date there has been no response.

He was speaking to reporters outside the 3rd Additional Sessions Court after appearing in a sedition case filed by 'Q' branch police in connection with a speech made by him in 2008.

The case was adjourned to August 7 as the Public Prosecutor did not appear on government's  behalf.
