Direct Rail Link To Palakkad From Tiruchendur After 7 Years

MADURAI: After seven years, train passengers from southern districts have got a direct train to Pallakkad.

The Railways had extended the Thiruchendur-Palani-Pollachi passenger upto Palakkad recently. 

Train No 06770 (56770) will leave from Tiruchendur at 11.10 am, arrive at Tirunelveli at 12.30 pm, Virudhunagar at 2.38 pm, Madurai at 4 pm, Dindigul 5.25 pm, Palani at 7.20 pm and arrive at Pollachi at 8.45 pm and will reach Palakkad Town at 10 pm.  In the return direction, the special train No 06769 (56769) will leave from Palakkad at 4.30 am. It will arrive at Pollachi at 6 am, Palani at 7.35 am, Dindigul at 8.50 am and Madurai junction at 10.10 am. It will leave from Tirunelveli at 1.55 pm and will reach Tiruchendur at 4 pm.
