3 Meet With Watery Grave in Vellore Dist

VELLORE:Three persons were killed in rain-related incidents in Vellore district since Saturday evening.

In the first incident police said, Sugal Ahmed (19) and his friend Raghuman Basha (19) of of Pudupettai in Melvishram had gone to the check dam along Sadiq Basha river near Arcot. The duo drowned when taking bath and their bodies were fished out with the help of neighbours. In another incident, the fire service personnel fished out the body of Chinnathambi (24), who fell into a well in Bilal Nagar near Ambur, after a nine hour operation. The victim had gone out for a walk on Saturday and fell into the well.
