VELLORE: A group of residents blocked the road and protested near Arcot, demanding safe electricity connection to people, because a child had died of an electric shock. Tamizhselvi, a five-year old, along with her father Prakash, was taking bath near a well in Katapandhangal village. Tamizhselvi got in contact with the switch board accidentally and fell unconscious. She was immediately rushed to the Walajah Government Hospital.  The doctors informed the parents that she was already dead.
