CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, admitted to Apollo Hospitals on the night of September 22, is under observation on Saturday. But she is on normal diet, said a medical bulletin from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the AIADMK cadre across the State offered special prayers at places of worship of all religions. Since the hospital had clarified that the Chief Minister was cured of fever and was only under observation, the number of party cadre on Greams Road in the city where the hospital is located, had come down on Saturday. Senior AIADMK leaders including Ministers continued to visit the hospital enquiring about her health. Matinee icon Rajinikanth, film lyricist Vairamuthu and many others have wished the Chief Minister a speedy recovery.
