Chennai scored a meagre 31.46 points in comparison to Nagpur which scored 259.96 to bag the top spot.
The Greater Chennai Corporation which is implementing a major chunk of Smart City Mission projects has completed just two projects in the last few years - Namma Chennai App and 28 smart classes. Taking stock of the below par rating, Deputy Commissioner (works) Govinda Rao said projects would be expedited and many projects are in the execution stage.
