Two killed in quarry explosion in Erode district

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced Rs 3 lakh ex-gratia payments for the families of the two victims.

ERODE: Two persons were killed in a blast at an unlicensed private stone quarry in Erode district late on August 20. The victims, who were employed at the quarry, included one individual from Karnataka.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has condoled the deaths and announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 3 lakh each to the families of the victims.
