Government for Waterfalls, Cave Tourism Hubs

HYDERABAD: In order to boost tourism in the state, the government is planning to set up special tourism hubs for caves and waterfalls, along with eco tourism spots in the coming days.

The famous Kuntala waterfalls in Adilabad and Pandavula Gutta in Warangal would be developed under waterfalls tourism, while eco tourism spots will be developed in the forest areas of the state. Cave tourism will be developed at Akka Mahadevi caves in Mahbubnagar district. Tourism minister Ajmera Chandulal on Monday reviewed the development works taken up by the Telangana Tourism Corporation and asked officials to focus on developing eco, cave and waterfalls tourism.

The minister directed officials to develop the age-old water bodies that were present since the of Kakatiya rulers.
