CM Offers Aid to Woman Pilot, Karate Exponent

The state government will bear the training expenses of a woman pilot from Adilabad and a karate player from the Old City.

HYDERABAD:  The state government will bear the training expenses of a woman pilot from Adilabad and a karate player from the Old City. The karate player and the woman pilot met chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at his office on Monday where they got assurance of financial assistance to pursue their career.

G Swathi Rao of Khanapur in Adilabad, who got pilot licence in 2006, is presently working as flight instructor in Philipines. She wanted to become an Airbus pilot. Swathi met KCR along with minister A Indrakaran Reddy and informed him about her aspiration. KCR assured her of all possible support.

Similarly, Sayeeda Falak of Old City has won gold in individual event in Chennai open karate championship last year. She is representing India in the 13th senior Asian Karate Championship to be held in Japan.

KCR assured financial support to Sayeeda for her training to participate in the championship, an official release said.
