HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is offering special summer package tours to various heritage and temple destinations in the State as well as other States. If you want to pay a visit to the famous Shiva temple in Vemulawada or Bhadrachalam for that matter, the TSTDC has a daily package. For Vemulawada, the tour bus will depart from the TSTDC central reservation office at Basheerbagh at 7 a.m. every day and will return by 6 p.m.
For Bhadradri, the bus will start at 9 pm and will arrive at Bhadrachalam at 6 a.m. the next morning. The return journey will start at 10 p.m. in Bhadrachalam. A similar daily package is on offer for Basar. For heritage enthusiasts, the Warangal-Hyderabad heritage tour can be rewarding. In keeping with the State government’s stress on Yadagirigutta, the TSTDC is also offering a daily package to the hill shrine.
As for the inter-state package tours, the focus is on south India. The TSTDC is offering package tours to Bengaluru, Srirangapatnam, Mysore and other places. This will be on offer only on the first and 16th of every month. The most looked forward to tour, however, could be the Papikondalu road-cum-river cruise tour in AP. It starts every Friday and the three-night, two-day package covers Bhadrachalam and Papikondalu.
