HYDERABAD: Known for performing frequent homams (fire rituals to appease gods), chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is all set to conduct Sudarshana Homam in the auspicious Sravana month (August).
Once Mission Bhagiratha is launched at Gajwel in Medak, Rao is likely to conduct the Sudarshana Homam in the Assembly constituency, most likely at his farmhouse in Erravalli. Rao grabbed the attention of the nation by conducting Ayuta Chandi Maha Yagam for five days in December last year. On the concluding day of the Yagam, he declared that he would conduct Sudarshana Homam and later another big Chandi Homam if Mission Bhagiratha was launched successfully. Sudarshana Homam is performed for prosperity and well-being.
