Telangana SSC to hold re-exam of paper-1 for SI, ASI posts

The examination will be held in computer based mode for the first time and only for those candidates who appeared for paper-1 on March 20.

HYDERABAD: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) here on Tuesday decided to conduct a re-examination of paper-1 for recruitment of sub-inspectors in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and assistant sub-inspectors from June 4.

The examination will be held in computer based mode for the first time and only for those candidates who appeared for paper-1 on March 20.

In this regard, the chairman of the commission has already written to chief secretaries of the respective states/ Union Territories seeking their assistance for ensuring security arrangements around the venues for conducting the exam in a foolproof manner. The re-examination will be conducted in two shifts from June 4 to June 6 in southern regions, which includes Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The examination will be held at 33 venues in 10 centers in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kurnool, Guntur, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and Puducherry. e-Admit cards authorising candidates to appear for the examination with respect to the southern region have already been posted on the website www.sscsr.gov.in of the southern regional office of the commission.
