HYDERABAD: A division bench of Hyderabad HC adjourned the hearing to Wednesday the case filed challenging a letter issued by Centre directing both varsities to conduct common counselling for seats of NEET-Super Speciality-2017 at a national level. The bench will adjudicate the issue of non-local quota and other related issues on Wednesday.
On Aug 17, bench stayed the counselling of NEET for admission to DM/MCh courses in colleges affiliated to NTR University of Health Sciences in AP and Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences in TS. Petitioners contended that admission to professional courses in TS and AP are governed by Presidential Order issued in exercise of the power conferred under Constitution’s Article 371-D.
