Jamat-e-Islami Hind says no to law against triple talaq

As per the All Indian Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), if a person wants divorce, the talaq process should complete in nine months duration.

KARIMNAGAR: Though Jamat-e-Islami Hind is against triple talaq, they don't want the Centre to bring law against it, said the state president of the women wing of the organisation Khalida Parveen. She made it clear that they would not accept triple talaq at a go at any cost.

As per the All Indian Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), if a person wants divorce, the talaq process should complete in nine months duration. Triple Talaq outside  AIMPLB  process was violation of the Muslim Law Board, she opined.
Khalida, along with Jamat-e- Islami Hind, women visited Karimnagar on Thursday to preach the teachings of   Prophet Mohammed  and create awareness on women's rights. Prophet strived a lot for welfare of women, she said.    
She said that being an Indian Muslim women, she would abide by Indian Constitution as well as the AIMPLB.
