Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru which is edging its way towards a 100-day run, has received a shot in the arm with a popular theatre relooking its decision to take it off its screens.

Director Karthick Naren says, “I’m delighted to know that the film will be running for 100 days. Ths is despite the lack of extravagant promotional strategies.” He also credits the film’s longevity to the timing of its release.

“The distributors were hesitant initially as our film didn’t have the usual commercial elements, but we convinced them, and now we stand vindicated,” he adds.
There are no big plans to commemorate the 100th day. “I’m just happy that it will be reaching this landmark. Not too many films are able to achieve this feat anymore,” he shares.
