Director Thiru’s next, Mr. Chandramouli, featuring the father-son duo of Karthik and Gautham Karthik, is all set to go on floors from November 29. Produced by G Dhananjayan’s Creative Entertainers and Distributors, the film also features Regina Cassandra and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead, and includes two National Award-winning directors in J Mahendran and Agathian.
Mr. Chandramouli is expected be an action thriller with Karthik playing the role of a government official and Gautham playing a boxer. Mahendran has been roped in to play a successful businessman, while Agathiyan will play Karthik’s friend.
The film is said to deal with a father-son relationship, before shifting gears into action territory. The latest addition to the cast is actor Santhosh Prathap of Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam fame, who has been roped in for an important role. Richard M Nathan is the film’s choreographer, while Sam CS is in charge of the music.
