HYDERABAD: The camp office that is housing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will be used as a State guest house for giving accommodation to the State guests like Chief Ministers from other states, Union Ministers or foreign delegates, once the CM shifts to the new camp office.

“The patch work at the new camp office is still going on. Once, the CM moves into the new one, the old one will act as state guest house,’’ sources said.

Lift Import Duty On Pos: As part of its efforts to drive the State towards cashless transactions, Chandrasekhar Rao asked the Centre to lift import duty on Point of Sale (PoS) machines. “There are no manufacturing units of PoS in the country. We have to import them from China. That is why Rao wanted the Centre to lift the import duty on PoS,” sources said.
