HYDERABAD: TJAC chairman M Kodandaram on Tuesday announced that they would go ahead with the proposed ‘Nirudyoga rally,’  on Wednesday from Sundarayya Park to Indira Park in Hyderabad  though there is no police permission.

While terming denial of permission to the proposed protest as most undemocratic, the TJAC chairman called upon unemployed youth to take part in the rally in large numbers. “If police create hurdles for you, while reaching Hyderabad, hold peaceful dharnas wherever you are,” he said.  Wondering at the way the state government informed the High Court that there are 31 cases against the TJAC, he recalled that even chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is one of the accused in all these cases registered during the Telangana movement.

Police, on the other hand, warned the youth that if anybody violates the prohibitory orders, criminal cases would be booked against them, jeopardising their job prospects in future.
“Prohibitory orders are in force in Hyderabad. Action will be initiated against those who violate the orders. All areas are covered under CCTV surveillance which will be used as evidence for taking legal action against the violators,” city police commissioner M Mahender Reddy stated.
Earlier, while dealing with a petition filed by the TJAC seeking permission for its rally, the High Court suggested TJAC to postpone the rally to Sunday or hold it at Nagole which was rejected  by TJAC.
