It is rare for one fashion designer to host an evening for another fashion designer and probably that’s why the evening turned out to be an exciting one. Designer Poonam Bhagat hosted a soire at Dirty Martini on Thursday night to introduce fellow designer from London, Ash Gangotra, to the desi fashion fraternity.
Londoner Gangotra has associated with Child, Relief and You (CRY) to do his bit for the unfortunate children of India. Gangotra is famous for being the chief designer of rockstar Liam Gallagher of Oasis’ fashion label, Pretty Green. Every garment that Gangotra will sell now, a percentage of the sale will got to CRY. Poonam is inspired by his idea and we might see her doing something similar soon.
