Rohit Bal made a smart move and did a tie-up with one of the largest retail chains for traditional Indian wear, Biba, to design a collection of lehenga-cholis, Anaarkali churidar-kurtas and salwars at an economy range. Could you imagine a Rohit Bal creation priced in the range of Rs 2,000-Rs 24,000? Well, now you can flaunt the Rohit Bal for Biba creation at your Ashtami gathering.

Siddharth Bindra, the man behind Biba, had also acquired 51 per cent stake in Manish Arora’s Desi line—Indian by Manish Arora—last year and now this unique tie-up with Bal makes Biba hit the bulls-eye.

A small showing at Anidra was well attended and we spotted Neera Nath, Sanjay and Sheena Sharma, Monisha Bajaj, Anil Lepps among other fashion aficionados.
