Anurag Kashyap’s latest directorial venture Bombay Velvet finally released after many a delay. Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma came to the Capital for the big-budget flick’s pre-release promo. Based on the 1960’s Bombay, the movie revolves around land sharks, underworld and amid all that a love story. A self-proclaimed Martin Scorcese fan, Anurag’s love for the Hollywood director is evident in Bombay Velvet.

Ranbir is having a release after a very long time and was frank enough to accept that he is nervous since his last release Besharam was a flop. Anushka, on the other hand, was fresh from the success of NH10 but had to deal with questions about Virat Kohli, which she dealt with ease.

Katrina Kaif is off to Cannes and everybody wanted to know if Ranbir would join her there. But Ranbir had a diplomatic answer: “If Bombay Velvet opens with a bang, I will fly off,” Anushka’s lip-job-gone-wrong bothered all, but nobody dared to ask her about it.
