BJP leader Nitin Nabin took charge as Bihar’s Urban Development Minister in Patna on Monday, outlining an ambitious plan to upgrade the state’s infrastructure.

He stated that quality roads would be the top priority, aiming to connect Patna statewide within four hours.

Nabin, who previously held the same portfolio from 2020 to 2025, emphasised that road safety and quality would remain his highest focus, despite the 15 bridge collapses reported between June and August 2024.
