A Telangana state transport employee K Shankar Goud set himself ablaze in a protest by RTC employees outside the Narsampet Bus Depot, demanding CM Revanth Reddy to fulfill his electoral promises. These promises include the merger of the TGSRTC with the government, pay revision, job security, and payment of dues. The 50-year-old TGSRTC bus driver is currently undergoing medical treatment at MGM Hospital, Warangal.
