SC sets free all Rajiv Gandhi assassination convicts after 33 yrs

The SC ordered to set free all six convicts facing life imprisonment in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. The order included the release of Nalini, PR Ravichandran, Robert Pias, Suthendraraja, Jaykumar and Sriharan. Meanwhile, Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the decision of the SC is "totally unacceptable and completely erroneous".
