Cyclone Biparjoy: Gujarat braces for landfall, IMD issues red alert; 74,000 evacuated

Cyclone 'Biparjoy' is expected to make landfall in Gujarat between 4-5 p.m. on June 15, with a maximum wind speed reaching up to 150 kilometers per hour. The NDRF, Railway Protection Force (RPF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and Army units are on standby to provide assistance and support. A total of 33 teams have been earmarked by the NDRF to undertake relief and rescue operations in Gujarat and Maharashtra ahead of the expected landfall of cyclone.
