UP police filed an FIR against the Samajwadi Party's Sambhal MP Zia-ur Rehman Barq. He is accused of "electricity theft" at his Deepa Sarai residence by the state power department. The parliamentarian was booked under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
