Tesla CEO Elon Musk offers to buy Twitter for $43 billion
Days after refusing to be a part of Twitter's board, Tesla chief Elon Musk on April 14 offered to buy the social media company for a whopping $41 billion in cash. Musk offered to buy Twitter for $54.20 a share, two weeks after revealing he had accumulated a 9% stake.
