North Korea, which has been involved in a war of words with the US, recently released doctored pictures and videos showing a US aircraft being bombarded by a Pukguksong missile.

The images were released hours after US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers, dispatched from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam flew close to North Korea's east coast.

These images, according to a report in The Independent have been doctored from a video which also contains scenes of a Pukguksong-2 missile launch and an explosion of two US jets in a firestorm.

The video released by North Korea contains doctored scenes of a North Korean submarine launching missiles on USS Carl Vinson, the US nuclear-powered supercarrier.

The video also has subtitles issuing a warning to the US stating: “Should F-35, B-1B and the Carl Vinson lead the US attack, they will head to the grave in that order.”

North Korea has earlier too created such videos containing simulated attack visuals on the White House and one where US President Donald Trump standing in a graveyard.

A huge rally was held in Pyongyang after US President Donald Trump in his UN General Assembly speech on September 19, threatened to "totally destroy" Pyongyang and referred to its leader Kim Jong-un as "Rocket Man".
