Express News Service

Eying the passenger flow during summer vacation, the Air India has launched a 60-day advance purchase fare (Apex) scheme.

Apex tickets will be available from Thursday for travel commencing 60 days and beyond. “The fares are attractively positioned closely with AC train fares. For instance, the all-inclusive 60-day advance purchase fare on the Kochi-Delhi route will be Rs 4,942 while Kochi-Mumbai is Rs 3,426 , Kochi-Chennai and Kochi-Bengaluru will be `2,272 each,” an Air India press releases said.

“We believe that the new initiative will spur growth in air travel and invigorate the market by encouraging holiday season travel,” airline authorities said.  The apex tickets are available for sale through all travel agents, on-line travel agents, Air India Website and booking offices for travel commencing around the middle of May onwards.
