One-day seminar held

The Southern India CA Students' Association (SICASA), Ernakulam branch organised a one-day seminar on Bank Audit, the other day. R Manmohan, CEO, Muthoot Capital Services Ltd inaugurated the seminar. Vivek Krishna Govind, former chairman of Ernakulam branch of SIRC of ICAI unveiled the E-News letter. About 200 CA students across the state attended the seminar, said Renjith R Warrier, Chairman, Ernakulam Branch of SICASA of ICAI.

Summer coaching camp

Rama Varma Club and Team Sam Academy will organise a summer coaching camp at Rama Varma Club, Ernakulam from March 23 to May 22. There will be training for eight sports items-Tennis, Soft Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Darts, Chess, Scrabble and Checkers. The camp will be open to all. Coaching will be imparted from the beginers level above eight years of age to advanced levels. Theory and video demonstration and analysis of trainees will be given emphasis. Hundreds attend Nercha Sadhya

Hundreds of devotees attended the 'Nercha Sadhya' as part of the feast of St Joseph at Moolampally Church, the other day. Fr Jose Vayalali was the chief priest of the ceremony while vicar Fr Rony Joseph blessed the ceremony.

Project launched

The 'organic waste utilization and organic farming' jointly by the City Corporation and Yasoram Charitable Trust was inaugurated by Mayor Soumini Jain at the St John The Baptist Church, Palarivattam, on Sunday. Deputy Mayor T J Vinod, Yasoram Charitable Trust Managing Trustee, A R S Vadhyar, health committee Chairperson V K Minimol, development committee Chairperson Gracy Joseph, Fr Thomas Pulikkal and former Deputy Mayor Sabu George spoke on the ocassion.
