Chairpersons to 16 boards, corporations appointed

Express News Service

Chief minister Jagadish Shettar on Wednesday appointed chairpersons to 16 state-run boards and corporations.

The move that came just ahead of Assembly polls is being viewed as an effort by the BJP to stop its workers from joining former CM B S Yeddyurappa’s KJP.

This was evident from the fact that all the 16 nominees are from the party cadre.
