HYDERABAD: The Telangana state government will present a national award every year in the name of NTR to a reputed film personality. The state government has decided to give away State Film Awards from Ugadi festival next year. The state government has stopped distributing film awards after the formation of Telangana. Speaking to reporters later, the minister said that the state government would give awards to film personalities in 19 categories. NTR National Film Award, Paidi Jayaraj Film Award, Raghupati Venkaiah, Kantarao and Prabhakara Reddy awards would be presented, the minister said.
The best film award to a film which promotes national integration would be given in the name of Sarojini Naidu.

The online ticketing, mini cultural centres, and screening of low budget film as fifth show in theatres and other decisions would be announced in January after discussing the same with chief minster K Chandrasekhar Rao, the minister said.
