THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Special Vigilance Court here on Wednesday posted the hearing on a petition against Vigilance Director and State Police Chief Loknath Behera regarding his controversial order, to use the product of a particular brand to paint the police stations across the state, for Tuesday. Vigilance Judge D Ajith Kumar postponed the case after hearing the arguments of the complainant and the additional legal advisor.

Earlier, the court asked if it was right on the part of a government officer to suggest the name of a particular brand without placing any tender. The court had enquired whether Behera was the police chief when the order was issued.
