India saw a record single-day spike of 11,929 novel coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the number of infections to 3,20,92 on Sunday, while the death toll rose by 311 to 9,195, the Health Ministry said.
There are 1,49,348 active cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 1,62,378 people have recovered and a patient has migrated, according to the ministry data updated in the morning.

New lockdown rules in Punjab's Ludhiana
On gazetted holidays, non-essentials shops to close at 5 pm and essential shops at 7 pm. Restaurants/liquor shops to close at 8 pm. Public movement continues till 9 pm.
On Sundays, only essential shops will open. Restaurants/liquor shops will close at 8 pm. Inter-district movement can continue without pass on weekdays but on weekends and gazetted holidays e-pass is needed.
In case of medical emergency or any other emergency, they can move without pass.
There's no restriction on movement of goods/ There is no restriction on movement within districts as of now.
E-pass is needed for weddings, names of all guests attending the wedding have to be mentioned in the pass.

Madhya Pradesh's COVID-19 tally mounts to 10,443 with 202 new cases
