PM Modi to Attend Centenary Convocation of Banaras Hindu University

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest in the centenary convocation of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) tomorrow.

VARANASI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest in the centenary convocation of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) tomorrow.

Union Human Resource and Development (HRD) Minister Smriti Irani will also be present on the occasion.

Prime Minister Modi will also visit the Sant Ravi Das temple at Seer Govardhanpur area of Varanasi to offer prayers on the occasion of the 639th birth anniversary of the saint.

According to reports, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is also visiting Varanasi and will attend the ceremony at Sant Ravi Das temple.

This year the BHU completed its 100 years. The university celebrated its foundation day on February 13 and a number of events are being organized on the campus for the last many days.
