Former PM Manmohan Singh discharged from AIIMS 

The 87-year-old Congress leader was discharged around 12:30 pm, hospital sources said. Singh was shifted to a private ward in the Cardio-Neuro tower on Monday night.

NEW DELHI: Former prime minister Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to the AIIMS here after suffering reaction to a new medication, was discharged on Tuesday.

On Sunday evening, the two- time PM under the UPA government was brought to the hospital after he complained of chest pain. He was admitted to the ICU ward of Cardio Neuro building of the hospital.

After spending a day in the ICU under the observance of Dr Nitish Naik, the 87-year-old Congress leader was shifted to a private ward on Monday.  He had also undergone a Covid-19 test, results of which came negative.
