TUNI: The Tuni rural police took 150 foreigners, including 50 women and children, into custody on Wednesdaywhen they visited Lova Kottur and some other villages.

Tuni inspector Subba Rao and rural sub-inspector Mahesh who shifted them to Baba Ramdev temple, are trying to find out their native place. Some foreigners are speaking Tamil. They told cops they used to visit pilgrim centres for two months a year. As part their pilgrimage, they came to Lova after visiting Tirumala and Vijayawada and they are planning to go to Annavaram.

The foreigners said they had been staying in a temple for the past one week. They came to Tuni to purchase essential commodities.
