KARIMNAGAR: A railway engine travelling towards OCP-4 derailed at 5-incline near Godavarikhani on Friday. The incident occurred on the internal tracks of Singareni and no casualties were reported.
On information, Singareni officer on special duty Vikramjit Singh Duggal and Godavarikhani DSP Uday Kumar Reddy visited the place of mishap and found that seven fishplates and track locks were removed by unidentified miscreants.
The engine was going towards the open cast mine to bring wagons loaded with coal to the dump yard of Ramagundam. The track was restored by afternoon.
