VISAKHAPATNAM: Devotees took part in large number in the “Laksha Galaarchana” programme, singing bhajans for universal peace, harmony and well-being of mankind, on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. It was organised by the city’s Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi on the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar School premises in MVP Colony here Sunday. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the chief guest, offered prayers to the deity. The celebrations were organised across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by over 450 bhajana samithis and 1,800 bhajana mandals. The organisers said that over one lakh devotees, schoolchildren, teachers, staff, general public and office-bearers from youth, education and service wings of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation participated in the programme. Bhajans lauding the Lord in all religions were sung on the occasion.
