Kerala custodial death: Sreejith's Postmortem report reveals brutal torture

The postmortem report dismisses the claim of the police the youth had suffered the injury during a clash with his neighbour on Friday.

KOCHI: Putting the police in a fix, the postmortem report of Sreejith of Varappuzha, who died allegedly due to police brutality, has revealed the victim sustained serious injuries, pointing towards custodial torture. 

The postmortem report dismisses the claim of the police the youth had suffered the injury during a clash with his neighbour on Friday.  As per the report, the injuries happened on Saturday.The injuries found just above the wall of the abdomen are two to three days old.  The youth had undergone a surgery at Aster Medicity Hospital in Cheranelloor for a tear in the small intestine.The post mortem was done in camera considering the possibility of a controversy.
