In an effort to highlight the alarming exhaustion of water, Bakul Foundation organised an event to create awareness among the denizens of Bhubaneswar, to minimise its misuse.
The Bakul volunteers staged rituals symbolising the death of Water.
‘Jal Hai to Janam Hai, Jal Hai to Kal Hai’, pronounced the volunteers as they carried out a symbolic funeral of water at the premises of a mall in the City.
The participants tied a blue ribbon on one another’s wrists that they named as the “Jal-Bandhan” and urged the spectators to carry the noble message forward.
