At least 12 people were killed and several others injured on Sunday after two gunmen opened fire at Sydney's Bondi Beach. One shooter was reported dead, while police took two people into custody, who the media say were involved in the attack.

According to reports, 29 people were wounded, including a child and two officers. Visuals showed bystanders performing CPR on victims. Meanwhile, a viral video shows a man confronting a suspected attacker, snatching his gun, and forcing him to flee.

Witnesses said the attackers fired indiscriminately, targeting children and elderly people. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese described the incident as shocking and distressing. Authorities said further details on the incident are awaited.
