According to reports, the Supreme Court on Friday refused to hand over to the BCCI the audio recording of statements made by Chennai Super Kings skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, board president N Srinivasan and Indian Premier League Chief Operating Officer Sundar Raman.

All three had deposed before the court-appointed committee, headed by retired judge Justice Mukul Mudgal. The two-judge bench of Justice AK Patnaik and Justice JS Khehar told the BCCI lawyers they will examine if handing over the transcripts is required when the IPL scam case comes up for hearing again on April 16.

BCCI counsel CA Sundaram said without the transcripts of the audio tapes it would be difficult for him to respond in the matter. His plea was opposed by the Cricket Association of Bihar's (CAB) lawyer Ajeet Sinha.

Sinha submitted that if the transcripts are given to the BCCI, then they those should also be given to the CAB. He also questioned the locus standi of the BCCI in seeking the transcripts of Srinivasan, who has been kept out of the affairs of the board.
