He said government pensions, being given to aged persons and widows, would be enhanced from the present Rs 200 to Rs 1000 per month.

Addressing the Samara Bheri public meeting at Suryapet in Nalgonda district on Sunday, the TRS supremo said he would increase the monthly pension to differently-abled persons to Rs 1,500 besides extending the Arogyasri health scheme to all sections of people.

Salaries of the state government staff in separate Telangana would be fixed on a par with the central staff, he added. The state would be divided into 24 districts and Suryapet would one of them.
