COVID-19 HIGHLIGHTS | In a highest single-day spike, 9386 test positive in Karnataka

India's COVID-19 tally crossed the 33 lakh mark on Thursday with 75,760 fresh infections and 1,023 deaths, in the last 24 hours.

The total caseload in the country rises to 33,10,235 including 7,25,991 active cases, 25,23,772 cured/discharged/migrated & 60,472 deaths, as per the latest Ministry of Health Data.

According to the ICMR upto 3,85,76,510 samples including 9,24,998 ones on Wednesday (August 25) alone, have been tested till August 26 for coronavirus.

    With 12 new COVID-19 cases,Dharavi's tally rises to 2,737: BMC

    For the second day in row, Dharavi slum colony on Wednesday reported 12 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total count to 2,737, a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said. With 2,380 of the total 2,737 patients already recovered from the infection, the slum sprawl is now left with only 97 active cases, he said.

     In an evening medical bulletin, the private hospital where the singer is being treated has said that SPB continues to be in the ICU on ventilator and ECMO support. His current clinical condition is stable. He is conscious and responsive.
