Jubilant Life jumps on price hike of 18% for Niacin

Jubilant Life Sciences, a significant player in the Nutrition market and largest manufacturers of Vitamin B3 (Niacin & Niacinamide), jumped on Thursday after the company announced a price-increase of 18% for Niacin feed-grade, with immediate effect, for non-contract customers and wherever existing contracts permit.

Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 152.30, up Rs 10.7, or 7.56% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 12:43 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 153.00 and low of Rs 139.25. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 239,287.In the earlier session, the shares rose 4.7%, or Rs 6.35, at Rs 141.60. Currently, the stock is trading down 19.84% from its 52-week high of Rs 190 and above 133.95% over the 52-week low of Rs 65.10.
