European markets climbed on Friday after U.S. jobless claims
dropped more than forecast and markets reopened following the
Europe's leading Blue-chip index for the Eurozone, EURO STOXX 50
gained 38.49 points or 1.25% to settle at 3,111.37.
UK's benchmark index FTSE 100 climbed 56.70 points or 0.85% to
settle at 6,750.87.
French benchmark index CAC 40 rose 59.24 points or 1.40%, to end
Germany's benchmark index DAX added 100.57 points or 1.06% to
close at 9,589.39.
